The Meet

We meet every Thursday morning at The Holiday Inn in Farnborough. We start to gather from 06:30 and aim to be eating breakfast by 07:00. This half hour slot gives us a chance to fill our coffee cups and catch up with our BNI colleagues, as well as meet any new visitors or subs. The formal part of the morning is over by 08:30 but people often stay around and chat for a while.

Our meetings are both formal but lively. We aim to follow the BNI principles that are proven to help bring each other business, but we like to do this in an informal and relaxed atmosphere

The BNI Philosophy

The BNI philosophy is Givers Gain and is the largest business referral group in the world. It exists to help local businesses promote their services and in turn encourages you to promote the services of others within the group. Only one company from each type of business is allowed within each group, thus ensuring that everybody in the meeting is supporting each other and not competing.

Being active in BNI is like having up to 20 sales people working for you, because your fellow members will be carrying your cards and referring your business to people they meet, without you having to pay them any salaries or commission. Successful businesses depend on 'word-of-mouth' marketing as the best form of promotion there is.

BNI is not just a way of getting more business. It is also a way of giving business to others. This allows you to offer more services to your clients and improve your current relationships.
